We started with a complete strip-out of the old shower room, installing a new walk-in shower, a concealed WC with a niche featuring ambient lighting for a soft, relaxing atmosphere, and a basin with a vanity unit. Russell and Becky opted for brushed brass fittings, which complemented the dark tiles and paint, creating a striking, high-contrast, luxury look. Special attention was given to ensure a consistent brushed brass finish, as variations between manufacturers could detract from the room’s cohesive style.

Initially, we planned to run the main waste pipe through a boxed section in the room below, but after removing the flooring, we were able to install it within the floor space – avoiding disruption in the room below. We also considered that dark paint could highlight wall imperfections, so special care was taken throughout the decorating process to achieve a sophisticated, flawless finish.
