HTS recently completed a comprehensive bathroom and shower design, renovation, and plumbing project in Croxley Green, optimising layouts to enhance both style and functionality while addressing specific plumbing challenges.
Project Overview – Bathroom Renovation
In the main bathroom, we remodelled the layout to maximise space, relocating the bath to one end of the room. The basin was also moved from beneath the window to the opposite wall, creating space for a new mirror unit and improving usability. This bathroom redesign included addressing plumbing requirements to ensure seamless functionality. We used 600 x 300 marble-effect tiles for a sleek, modern finish, complemented by a feature wall using statement marble-effect tiles behind the bathtub. Brushed brass fixtures were selected to add a luxurious touch, and the shower valve was strategically placed at the head of the bathtub for enhanced accessibility.
In the small shower room, we faced the challenge of fitting a large shower tray within a limited space. By relocating the basin and offsetting the toilet, we created the necessary room while ensuring efficient plumbing solutions. The shower area was finished with large-format, light marble-effect tiles, adding brightness and style. We also installed a stylish shower panel and a new towel rail, with the basin positioned for maximum functionality. A critical issue with the toilet’s waste pipe was resolved by routing it through the main bathroom, behind the bathtub, ensuring a seamless connection to the soil stack. This approach highlighted our expertise in plumbing as well as design.
